  • Its completely normal and healthy for a teen guy to masturbate daily, and it is very common for a few years after puberty. It only becones a problem when it starts to interfere with other activities, or they become reliant on pornography or additional stimulation.

  • It's not good for you to do it that much. You're actually fucking up your brains reward mechanisms if you do. It long term decreases your happiness and drive to have success.

This is normally a system that is supposed to positively encourage behavior. Certain drugs have similar effects. Long Term, you can grow resistent to this reward system. It will be harder to feel happiness.

    That said, I think complete abstinence is unrealistic for teen boys. And as far as masturbation goes, self stimulated, porn free, standing up (in the shower) is far healthier than any alternative.

    • I'd be happy to say it isn't (especially as conscious routine). I just think doing it in the shower is better than most alternatives besides abstinence. Standing is better for encouraging blood pressure for future erections. It's far better to avoid porn. Avoiding perverse simulating implements is good. Doing it in the shower puts a natural limit on when it's done (rather than considering it to be accessible at any time).
