yes. that's what beards help with. look at Rhett from good mythical morning on youtube. he has no chin and no jawline to speak of xD but his beard hides that fact.

You have to look past the jaw. He will have other things going for him.

Hmm.. maybe, well first, maybe you have other nice features on your face and body, second because personality is more important. I've been surprised at myself being attracted to guys I wouldn't normally be attracted to (short, "weak chin", skinny, bald, feminine etc). It really was their sheer confidence, style, charm and intelligence that made my knees weak. What I find extremely unattractive is desperation, bad body odor and childish behaviour, I dont even care if they'd look like Chris Hemsworth.

I have an extremely narrow chin and jaw. Because of that I rarely shave my beard. I do trim it though
