Of course we should be considerate of the people we are with and the context we are in, and sometimes it is inappropriate or inconsiderate to bring up sexual themes.
But in general, I think it's acceptable to talk openly about sexual themes. If you are simply overhearing a conversation, I don't think (in most cases) that you have any say and should stay out of it. But if you are in the group or part of a conversation and the topic makes you uncomfortable, let the people know or simply pull out of the conversation until a non-sexual topic comes up.
I believe in open and free discussion of sexual topics and am probably guilty of (somewhat unconsciously) directing conversations towards these themes.
Nah, public talking about sex is decidedly not classy, particularly if it's so often you can only relate stories back to sex, or in a place where you are talking with others outside of your closest friend group.

Definitely masturbating. Gross topic in a normal setting. I've talked about it while being drunk, around a few friends. And conversation doesn't last long at all
There is nothing wrong with talking about sex as long as it is respectful and there are no children around.
There probably is a topic fro everyone he doesn't want to listen to while others talk about it.
But there is nothing you can besides going somewhere else.
They got every right to talk about these topics.
Only exception would be, if there are children around, some topics are not suitable for children.
It's fine to disapprove. It may not be fine to vocalize that disapproval, depending on the situation. I'd say a party with heavy drinkers allowed is one of the situations where it isn't okay to be hostile and disapproving, unless you are invited to criticize.
The public space is one where the individual liberties are reduced to a minimum and for good reasons. Talking out loud about how hard I plowed that blondie the night before can comprehensibly make many in hearing distance uncomfortable and one shouldn't go out to buy their groceries just to come back home disgusted.
The public space is when we all should be showing the most restraint, for nobody cares about our preferences and exploits when going their merry way.
There are outlets such as this board and specific places to go to if you want to talk dirty or act dirty. Keep your hormones at bay until you're in a fitting place to do so.
It's not wrong, it's just your opinion. I don't mind a little sex talk in public every now and then, if people don't like the topic then they should participate in the conversation. Although, if people talk about it all the time, it can get a little annoying.

It's a matter of taste. There's a thin line between what's acceptable and what isn't.
You can disapprove of it, but try to understand that we have free speech, and talk about sex is not an exception to that. Don't listen to it if you don't like it.
