Sexual Health Is lying about virginity a deal breaker?

My girlfriend of one year lied to me about her virginity due to her being afraid that she would 'lose' me. It's not the virginity that angers me but the fact that she lied about something that big. Is this a deal breaker?

Some women do that. She was probably scared to tell you when she first met you. I seen both real life and the movies that woman hides critical information like that. Example a white husband found out that his white wife slept with African Americans before she met her husband and she never told him until years and years later like 5 or 10. Now he's upset and he's thinking about leaving her from not telling him her past. He's having troubles accepting his wife past. That was on a article I read about wives hiding their pasts. If your woman loves you let her come to you and see if she'll seek out some kind of forgiveness to you. That is something I might do. The women from the article did seek out forgiveness to her husband but haven't heard more if he accepted his wife's past or not.
Jeez. Dump her. Seriously, if she lied about that for an entire year, what else she could be hiding? Someone like that doesn't deserve an exclusive relationship.
People shame a lot about that so unless you find that she lies about everything else is let that one slide. She really likes you if she's worried about that.
No, it's not a deal breaker. Being a virgin is something someone can feel ashamed about and therefore it's understandable why she lied. It's not about lying, it's about her intentions. He/she didn't lie to hurt someone, he/she is just ashamed to tell you because he/she don't know how someone will respond.
It's not a shame if you are a virgin and it's not a deal breaker if you lie about it. Some people don't understand why someone would lie about it.

Lying about being a virgin would be a deal breaker only cause you don't know what else she is lying about. I wouldn't trust a girl if she wasn't honest up front and told me everything.

@Skankhunt I do tell people I'm still a virgin, I have no problem with it, other people tend to find it weird though, but that's not my problem.

@Just_Me86 The Context would be ok, if you are trying to protect the other person, or if they are forced, but here, she was just scared, and she should not of lied, imagine it was you, would you tell the truth if you were convinced it would lead to your break up?
@crazyboy313 Yeah I would still tell the truth; I've seen people close to me be in situations where they've lied because they are scared of a breakdown in a relationship. The truth always comes out and it never ends well. At least if you tell the truth you have some shot at rectifying the situation, if you just keep lying it makes it so much worse. I have always told the truth in relationships even though I knew as soon as I did the person would leave (it's happened quite a few times to me). I understand that some people think that lying is ok because they've talked themselves into believing that the lie would "protect" the person, but I struggle to see any plausible situation where this would be the case, the only situation being that their lives would be threatened, which isn't common.
