It seems like a lot of people think a woman who has had a lot of partners is viewed as a slut who has reduced her worth as a potential partner or spouse. But men who have had lots of partners are viewed as stallions, or more experienced, and are more desirable partners because of their experience. Or that men who have not had many partners must have something wrong with them, because they would obviously of had more partners if they could, and there must be a reason why women aren’t sleeping with him.

WOMEN HAVE EVOLVED TO LOOK FOR A COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP AND PARTNER. YOU WOMEN HAVE TO BEAR THE CHILDREN AND AS SUCH HAVE EVOLVED TO LOOK FOR A MAN THAT CAN (AND WILL) TAKE CARE OF THEM WHILE THEY RAISE THE KIDS. Yes, there is a double standard and with good reason.
First off, let me begin by saying I LOVE promiscuous and experienced women. They know exactly what to do to make you saticefied. Now that that's said, on to the matter.
With a growing number of exceptions you're right. There is a double standard but it has it's explanation. Even after feminism changed society and a lot of rules of conduct between men and women some things remain the same. Men take initiative, men put in the effort to make a relationship happen and has to convince her he's the one by courtship, gifts etc etc. Most women feel they meet the necessary requirements by being hot and putting out and even then only when it suits them. As long as men are the ones to put in the greater effort to make things happen they're also the ones who decide who to put in that effort for.
Now imagine if the roles were switched. Women took initiative, they payed for dates, went out of their way to convince men that they were the woman of his life then ofcourse she could decide for herself what man to put in that effort for and then men would have incentive to stand out by advertising their purity. Until that happens though I guess we can all just keep arguing about what's double standards and fair.
I like the last paragraph , your initial thought is " yeah great " , but if it really was like that , you would have to be very conscious of what you did or you'd immediately devalue yourself and cop a great big SLUT tag , and that , no matter of what any of us may think , would completely change the ball game.

It depends because most of the time, it's the man being the one who provide so if the woman has more men, the more provider she gets but if it's the man has many women, he has to provide for many. So yes that's the difference.
But in the end, both genders have their own labels for having multiple partners.

Things that are easy to come by is not respected. Things that are hard to get or come by are more respected. So no its not a double standard , but a different standard all together.

Yes of course. There’s a lot of double standards in life. If people were asked who would you rather take your kids to as far as daycare? An all male staff or an all female staff what do you think they’d say? Most people would say female because supposedly women are more nurturing. Even though it’s been proven that women are more likely to hurt children. Why do women who sleep w minors usually get less of a prison sentence compared to men? Double standards.
