Is worrying about your penis size a sign of being gay?

Every day on GAG we see lots of men ask if their small penis is good enough to satisfy a a girl. Now we all know that male pornstars have large ones but they're the exception not the rule. So it begs the question, if guys are not comparing themselves to pornstars then who's penises are they looking at? It is my theory that these men are looking at other guys in toilets, changing rooms etc a little too closely. It Is logical therefore that they harbour gay tendencies.

    that women who worry about their physical image
    their waist, their ass, their boobs.. etc
    who judge themselves on the basis of other women
    are all harboring lesbian tendencies

    that would probably include every female on the planet :P

  • That is dumb. All the talk from many women about how they need a certain length or thickness had many guys worried. So they question their size. Which has absolutely nothing to do with being gay, unless you now think guys being interested in sex with women makes them gay.

  • Voted "no." As a researcher I once met - a co-worker of my girlfriend who works in family law and policy - put it, "Any guy who says that he has never compared his dick to another guy is a liar." It seems, apparently, that it is a behavior rooted in evolutionary behavior.

    For the male's prehistoric ancestors, an erect penis was the way a male displayed to attract females. It showed the female that he was ready to mate and also, by virtue of the size of his penis, showed that he was an alpha male.

    The female was looking for the healthy male with healthy sperm who could make healthy babies. Then, after birth, would be able to find food for mom and baby and ward off rival males and predators. Suffice to say, as a matter of evolutionary instinct, the female would link a large erect penis to the idea of virility.

    Note that females don't look at the penis as a source of pleasure - a common mistaken assumption of men - but as an indicator of virility and again a readiness to mate.

    Kinsey, (I may be mistaken, it may have been a different research institute, I am writing this from memory) did a study. They showed a random sample of women pictures of young naked men, some with erections, others not. The women were then asked who they thought were the best looking men.

    It was not even a close call, the men with erections won by a mile. The women were having an instinctive reaction and the men with erections were triggering in the women's brains all the responses that make sex desirable.

    Thus, why men tend to worry about penis size. To the man, sex is about physicality and thus they assume it is about how it will make the woman feel. That is a mistaken intellectual assumption about an instinctive behavior in females - but an understandable one.

    Thus in turn you get the gym locker room scene where men, perhaps without even being aware of it, are comparing themselves to other men. It is an evolutionary reaction. It is about the male competition, in evolutionary terms, for a mate. The guy with the larger penis gets to mate with more females.

    So an instinctive, perhaps unconscious, action plays out in a civilized context. It is the way men are wired - or so the research shows.

  • Most guys aren't worried about their size. Its just an ego boost to know they are not a mocropenis. Im 8 inches and im still curious about how my size feels inside a woman.
