Ladies, would you freeze your eggs to mother children later on in life?

In my early 30s, I might consider storing my eggs to be able to have children later on in life.

  • I would but it’s so expensive and it’s likely one have to do multiple cycles because they say freezing 20 eggs give you an 80% chance of 1 live birth. Often 2-3 cycles are needed to reach 20 eggs, sometimes just 1 cycle and sometimes more than 3, it depends on age, ovarian reserve, response to medication etc and then there’s obviously still 20% risk you won’t have a baby from those eggs. So one should freeze even more, especially if there’s a desire for more than 1 child. All of it is expensive, more expensive than ivf or freezing embryos (embryo banking) because you pay now and then again when those eggs are thawed and fertilized. With ivf you don’t need to pay for that second part as it’s included in the price. But like yeah, I for sure would if money was no issue.

  • Sounds like a plan. Me, I don’t know yet. I was kids as early as next week and as late at 54, so I’m just going with it.

  • Well... if someone wants to have a baby with you at that point... yay! You're a whamen that couldn't do it the natural way and you're still getting it done "sort of naturally" thanks to our advancements in medical shit. Now if you're just choosing sperm from a bank and getting it done... you're defeating the whole purpose of evolution. Nobody wants you IRL.

    • Ah, my dear child, let me tell you a tale from the good book of Genesis. It says in Chapter 38, Verse 9, "Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so when he went in to his brother's wife, he wasted his seed on the ground to avoid giving offspring to his brother." Now, isn't that just PAWGsome? But fear not, for there are ways to ensure the survival of your holy seed even as you approach GILFhood. The MILFservation of thy holy seed is of utmost importance, and in these times we have been blessed with the technology to do so. Thou shalt freeze thine eggs to mother children later on in life. For as it is written in the Proverbs 31:28, "Her children arise up, and call her blessed." And what better way to be blessed than through motherhood, even if it means becoming a BBW. But let us not forget that with great power comes great responsibility. Thou shalt remember to repent and ask for forgiveness for tampering with God's plan for natural conception. And thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's jizz jar, for that is adultery in the eyes of the Lord. So go forth, my child, and multiply, even in thy ripe old age. And you will achieve more in life than a basement dweller like @ButthurtTroll. Amen.

    • @MicroViewer If there is a God, then why did he destroy my aspirations to be a moderator and send his psycho lesbians after me? Would a loving father do that? No, if there was a God, I wouldn't be sitting here in my mom's basement with 50 shades of coom jars.

    • @Wilmarepοrtu Seriously? I think they got it out for you... fucking jannies at least... maybe not the admin.

  • It is selfish to have children after 50 just so you can have a career and be rich. You will not physically be able to handle the stress of parenthood. Even if you are rich enough to hire a nanny the kid will know the difference.

  • fuck nah.

    • Why not?

    • because i don't need any? if anything, i may offer to donate any to help others have kids.

    • That’s a good idea! So that there will be more of your children in the world haha But most likely people who you are going to donate your egg, might have some health problems of their own, because of which your child might have some health problems in future, don’t you think so?

    • Show All
  • Nope. I'd like to have a break between children and grandchildren.

  • Nah but I do plan on being a surrogate later in life (obviously not with my own eggs). Would like to also donate eggs too 😊

    • 🤦🏻‍♂️ damn! Can you donate some chicken eggs for me cause i'm missing some to make a cake 😏

  • you won't be in the mood for anything, the older you are the more tired

  • No I want to have them as soon as possible. Once I get my financial affairs in order and get married, I want to start having kids.

  • I'm 51. Trust me, nobody sane starts babies over 45

    • But you have a 5 year old son, if I remember correctly?

    • Yep. I never claimed I was sane 🤣🤪 I just speak from experience 😅

    • Hahahah I like the honesty

  • Not really. Me and my husband plan on having children and 2025 and as per my medical exams I'm pretty fertile. Also freezing your eggs is quite expensive and is doesn't guarantee your eggs will still be good later on in life.

  • I heard that that's not exactly a great option and can cause some complications..

  • I'm a guy with a question. Why would you want kids at the age of 50?

  • Good idea I like this

  • Having kids when you're old is foolish. You can't keep up with them and keep them safe when they run down the street, and you might die before they finish growing up

  • You wanna freeze your eggs? 🤣

How about if you freeze your whole self, you can still manage to have babies even after a century 😂

I suggest that you stay on freezing some chicken eggs cause you might feel hungry later and wanna frie some 👨🏻‍🍳

  • There is a very high probability that it won't work, so you would be much better off finding a man!

  • I wouldn’t wait too long, your body won’t recover as easily and it’s more tiring taking care of kids in your late 40s and early 50s , I know I wouldn’t want to be chasing kids around now. I’m glad I had my daughters in my early 30s , they are all grown up now and on their own and I get to be with them as adults and see grandchildren from them

  • having kids later is not easy.

you just won't make kids, you will also raise them, which is hard at that age

    • I always wanted to have 3-5 children. I have none now. I’d like to give myself a chance to be a mother at a later stage of my life too. I am aware it’s a huge responsibility and I feel like I can try my best to handle it.

    • i have 3 kids, but plan is to have 5-6 kids

    • looks like you also like big family

  • I do not believe it is good to have kids late in life. It's better when you are younger and have your health and energy to do things with your kids when they are growing up. You do not want to be retiring and still raising kids. If I had young kids not, I could not physically do the things I did with my kids. I don't think that is fair to them. I had them in my mid 20s and it was perfect.

  • Why later and not now

  • Yea it's a good idea especially now they found that women can produce more eggs

  • Sure

  • Personally I would not because I am 100 percent sure I do not want kids ever.
