There's the study. Basically, squirting is just involuntary peeing.
So I am genuinely very curious if this changes any guys perspective on it. Squirting has become fetishized and seen as like the epitome of "sexiness" of female orgasms.

14 50I agree that observable squirting is an involuntary spritz of pee. My SO does it when the sneezes or laughs hard and when she has an orgasm, which is an adventure during oral. Female ejaculation, the expulsion of a vow volume of viscous, tart tasting fluid at orgasm does exist but it is never a spray... just a drool of it comes alone... however... pee can come with it and mix so you can see a clouded spray of fluid.
I'm blow away that we still haven't figured out women sexually yet. Lots of mysteries there.

I wouldn't care, I'm not hung up on squirting. I will say that I wouldn't be surprised if the fetishization of squirting compromises studies and that some women are peeing, perhaps even unknowingly. Squirting has been known about for a long time and has generally been considered relatively uncommon. The fetishization of it has caused it to explode in the p*rn industry, and it's no secret that a lot of squirters in p*rn are actually just peeing (or sometimes injecting fluid into their bladders) for the money since viewers aren't going to know the difference most of the time. The p*rn increases the interest among men, who then pressure women to squirt the way p*rn actresses do. Media coverage further pressures women by making them think they should all be able to squirt. Given those pressures, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of women who claim to squirt these days might be urinating (and genuinely believe they're squirting).
I see differences in squirt and urine though. Urine is yellowish and has an odor. Even if you drink lots of water, it will still be at least a little yellow and have a slight odor. Squirt is clear and has no odor. Maybe I do actually urinate, but it feels a lot better for my orgasms.
Yes, there is a difference. I obviously can't speak to your personal experience, I'm just saying that the pressure on women to be able to squirt might cause SOME women to confuse the two.

Piss is yellow. Squirt is clear. The study does mention that it's mostly urine. But even then, you'd think it'd be somewhat yellow. I fucking love science, but I need more studies and articles before I believe it fully. I just asked to see if it all affects how "sexy" men still think it is?

Hmmm. Science says that sweat has uric acid but not urine. Urine does contain uric acid, but urine isn't only uric acid. And sweat has small amounts of uric acid. Squirt is mostly urine with a little bit of other secretions. I don't know. But there is color and smell difference in squirt and pee. I'm not so certain I believe it yet. I want to see more studies and articles on it first.

Eh. I don't believe it to be all that true quite honestly. I've squirted and I've peed before (duh lol) and they don't look nor smell the same. Pee has a slightly yellowish color, and an odor. Squirt is clear and odorless. It says that squirt is mostly urine, but not quite urine. Plus, it was only one study with a very small sample. I'd like for them to try with much more different women. And many more studies. So for now, I need more evidence to fully believe that squirt is actually urine.
You're right, larger studies should have taken place, either way it still looks hot. I think its one of those things we don't really need to define

Female orgasms aren't like male orgasms. Women have no prostates to ejaculate. All it is is peeing. I don't understand why this is such a big thing.

@roland77 No, it's pee. We have no organs big enough to ejaculate anything down there besides blood from our uterus and pee from our bladder. As a woman who known my anatomy very well. Squirting is DILUTED pee. It not concentrated. Regular pee is concentrated, but we make pee faster during arousal in order to pee and clear our urethra after sex. It's fake science to think it could be anything else!
I am fine with it. Pee is sterile when it leaves the woman's urethra so it safe to drink or shower with. LOL
