Sexual Health Guys, My boyfriend has used prostitutes before. Is it a red flag?

My boyfriend recently told me that he has used prostitutes before we met. He says he only did it once and that it was many years ago but I am not sure if this is true. I don't really know what I think because I just don't know if this is normal for guys. Are there certain types of guys who visit prostitutes or do most guys try it out at some point in their lives? Is it a red flag? If they have used them before are they likely to do it again when they are married or can it simply be something they tried when they were young and that's it? Do guys typically continue to use prostitutes if they have done so in the past? I don't really care that he did it in his past, I am just concerned what it might mean in the future.

(23)I'll admit it does show issues. I say that because I did it once and I have issues. It's a curiosity, lack of current dating options, and the power feeling of having cash and not being guilty about hooking up with a girl.
