So annoying. It's always the same thing, even when she knows I'm sleeping over at a girl friends house. And I've always been pretty responsible too, I take the pill for medical reasons since I was 10, and only missed it once in almost 5 years. Are parents always this paranoid?

I think your mom's trust problem may not be 100% about trusting you. I think she knows how boys will tell a girl anything to get with them sexually. Maybe you should sit down with her and explain to her how you are not going to let a boy sweet talk you into sex. I think she just needs her mind put at ease.

Yes we are paranoid. It makes us crazy on a regular basis. One slip up can lead to a life threatening illness. Just carry condoms and check the expiration dates. Don't leave them in a cold car or a hot car. Make your mom happy and give her peace of mind. They can die a slow death in your purse never to be used until you are 18 but if in need they'll be waiting.

If you are bi then you should carry female condoms too. Women who sleep with women aren't as careful sometimes and it can hurt them.
