Why is it a question? Periodically, I will respond to a question in the Sexuality category and some young person will respond and ask why I am commenting because old people "obviously" aren't sexually active and I must be an old pervert. Actually, I am 66 years old and still going strong. My libido is undiminished and my girlfriend and I enjoy a very satisfying physical relationship.

They should go on as long as their bodies are able, unfortunately a lot of people have health issues that makes sex difficult as they grow older. I think it's super sweet when older couples still sexually desire each other.

Did I incorrectly assume that you are healthy and will eventually reach the age of 60? Perhaps you have received a diagnosis of an illness which will cause your demise.
No, sorry. What I mean't was that when I get to that age (say, 60) I won't have sex. Actually, I'm not having it now, having lost all interest in it when I was in my 40's.

I'm 66 and my wife and I have a full, frequent and excellent sex life.
The older you get, the more uncomfortable people become with just the idea of you having sex with another person, which is exactly what will motivate me to keep having sex into my 70s and 80s. The moment old people having sex becomes popular or celebrated is the moment I stop altogether.
I don't think that this should even be topic of discussion. What people do in their lives is NONE OF MY BUSINESS.
