Seems like nowadays sex is top priority and home and family are less important. Are love and relationships dead?

Seems like nowadays sex is top priority. Home & Family seems to be less important and sex, fun, no titles, spontaneity seem to be more important overall. Do you guys agree?

  • There is love in the beginning but Love wears off after a while especially when something traumatic happens. Like infidelity, thinking the grass is greener on the other side, selfishness, self entitlement. Most whamen are like that.

  • Love is what prevents boys to become men. And relationships are a thing of the past because they benefit only women.

  • It seems that way, and it is truly sad.

  • Sex has always been a priority. By being open about it, people who only care about sex do people who want love and romance the favor of excluding themselves from the equation. Far less time wasted.

  • People are actually having less sex than they used to.

  • I used to think that until I met my boyfriend in September. I was very cynical, and I thought all men wanted was sex. Sometimes it takes one person to prove you wrong. I don't know if we'll be together for the rest of our lives or not, but regardless, I know love exists as I love him more than all the stars in the midnight sky. He loves me just as much. He's shown me what true love looks like.

  • No, but who's looking for those things in their 20's? or 25 and below? Not me I'm looking to explore everything but that it requires serious commitment and dedication for that stuff and that's if you find the one by which time you will be drained. Best to just let it happen.

  • Was it dead in the 60's? No.

  • Depends who you ask.

  • I'm still looking to start a family, but most of the women I met aren't interested in kids at all and most don't seem to believe in marriage anymore, and I'm not even conservative.

  • Love and relationships are very much alive you see evidence of it every day

  • I've only been in long term relationships so no 🤷‍♂️

  • Sex was always top priority lmao this fancy narrative started around a few centuries ago when people realized they could use it to sell more stuff to women and men trying to woo the women. Courtship is and always was a marketing ploy!

  • Isn’t that what relationship is?

  • It's a different kind of love. Personally I value friendship and comradery more then something as insipid as love

  • which is your source?

  • If you aren't able to satisfy your partner sexually they started getting irritated and try cutting off from you and try finding someone better in bed.

If there was love by any chance then they would not move to find someone better.

  • It's more so that like a select few people get into relationships anymore and they just happen to be more sexually driven. I know a shit ton of people who just want a partner, a family and whatnot. That concept is far from dead.

  • I said YES, but dont agree with the last part. Feminism has lowered the standards for girls.

    • What standards? That women also can do now what men can do s?

    • Lowered the standards? Where you live? I need to move there. I keep meeting the gotta be "be 6ft5 and buy me everything i want" girls.

    • @themythos dominant women are your answere:)

  • Of course not. Its just matter of finding a like minded a person. I would prefer someone i can actually spend time with for more than one night but have yet to find someone with similiar interest/hobbies.
