Have him lie down while sucking him off. But if he insists on standing, try it on your knees and on a soft an comfortable surface. If it hurts your knees, you can put a pillow or blanket under your knees. Or you can just use a different position. You can sit on the bedside, and he stand next to you, or he can lay on his side, while you suck him.
