Should men be seperated from women on college campuses?

^ Looks like they should separate men and women on college campuses, a whopping 23% have reported to have been raped on campus. Rape culture is very real, it's in our face and it's time for drastic measures, so I think colleges should consider seperating male and female students and keep them separate at all time because most men can't be trusted, especially the straigh, white, cis-gendered variety.

When I went to Uni, I was harassed by male classmates in a sexual manner and even groped a few times, 4 of my female classmates were raped, 1 by knife point and the male fraternities literally embraced rape culture and unhindered male behavior, calling it "primitivism". I've seen the true nature of men when left unsupervised, they don't act human and they don't value the well being of others because mommy and daddy aren't around and "It's time to PARTY!!!".

So I think it's time universities put up walls and keep men and women separate AT ALL TIMES. End the Co-ed lifestyle, crush campus rape culture.

  • If your country has a culture of rape, misogyny and laws that protect the rapist (hint) then co-ed universities should be put on hold until the issue is taken care of from the root.

  • No but I wish dorms were still separate by gender at least by floor. There's always guys walking around without shirts on or whenever I get out of the shower room there's a ton of guys so I can't just wear a towel or robe.

    I doubt separating them from women will help that, being kept away from girls while growing up would if anything I think have a dehumanising effect on them. Frat boys are likely the rich boy types who went to private male only schools, I think segregation is part of the problem - men should grow up surrounded by women/girls so that they more readily identify with and understand them.

    Another point to mention is that if this were done women may be unable to study mathematics - a class of 50 might only have 5 or 10 girls, universitys run like businesses and there's no way they would be running courses for just a few students.

  • The campus "rape" culture has been debunked by many people many times over. It's a feminist created fear factory used to push the agenda that all men are monsters. The ever loosening definition of "rape" and the complete lack of punishment for false rape claims allows this "culture" to become a weapon against innocent males.
    If there is any reason why genders should be separated in schools it would be to protect males from corrupt vindictive females.
