I am skeptical id connect well with someone who is pan but it depends on the person. I don’t want a partner who just cares about personality. I want a partner who likes my personality and wants my dick.
I’ve talked to at least one person who was pan who was probably bisexual + who I would have dated, but others I’ve run into struck me more as demisexuals who’d work with whatever they found. I’d be unhappy with that type of partner.

It’s not the checking out other people that bothers me. To a mild extent I wouldn’t mind if a partner noticed other people with me. It’s more this: you say you only care about personality but then that you’re checking people out. So what exactly is it you’re checking out? I want a partner who feels love, caring AND LUST for me. Not just “since I like him then I feel comfortable being sexual”. I want to be wanted. And I’m not sure I’d be happy with just “you have nice eyes”.
I'm checking out what they are wearing. If they have headphones and a marvel t shirt, I'm all up on that shit. If they are wearing full face of makeup and designer stuff, I might not really be into them. And, I don't speak for all of the pans in the world, but I personally do feel lust for people.
Pansexual just means you are comfortable with everyone, so as long as you are loyal with the one you decide to be with then it would be fine to be with a pansexual person
