He will value the cookie more if he seldom gets it but once he realize there are women who offers it more regularly and with less effort on his part he will value the woman providing it seldom less and realize he's been manipulated into giving her more than what the market actually is for the cookie.

It all depends on the length of the wait……. if it’s not too long of a wait, then i think it adds a little something to the entire dynamic of the relationship.
