  • I'm not 20 yet, but I will be soon (1.5 years), and to be honest, I don't have any experience with intimacy and so on other than hugging and kissing briefly.
This will probably be awkward in future relationships, but since I more or less know that my husband will also be a virgin (religious community/too complicated to explain now but it's very likely he's a virgin too), I'll be fine.
I don't think about sex all the time because I don't know what it's like.

I don't see why I would regret it because it's a choice I made before I ever met anyone I felt sexually attracted to. I never made a pledge to anyone, I'm not wearing a purity ring or anything, simply because I know that that's stupid. I want to have a relationship to God, and if he says that sex is only okay in a heterosexual marriage, so be it.
    I'm not mad about it.

Maybe I would be a little mad if I had at least met one person that I felt like I wanted to have sex with, but I didn't. 18 years and nothing. The people I fell for were all too old, lived too far away or didn't like me back. I'm not complaining, I'll meet someone eventually and the age problem will fix itself, I'm not attracted to 40 year olds, but much rather to mature men. I've never had to wonder whether I had an STD, was pregnant or whether I had been used by the guy I had sex with/was in a relationship with.
This makes me fairly happy and that won't change.

    • You're going to make a man the happiest husband in the world one day

    • @tallandsweet But why would you even consider doing it if there was someone you liked? I don't understand how that would make any difference. If you're waiting, you're waiting.

    • @Jamie05rhs Of course, but what I meant was that if I had met someone I actually liked, it would have been harder to wait.

  • No. I would feel awful full of regret if I had lost my virginity before. Just no.
I don't know why people (mostly dumb teenagers) think it’s such a tragedy to not have sex. It’s just ridiculous

If you’re in love have sex, not just because it’s sex.
For me that’s stupid, especially when they can’t even afford to pay their own bills.. it’s just dumb.

Im happy I waited to truly feel love
I lost mine at 34 🥰 and it was amazing!

  • Still a virgin. I'm glad I did not have sex with any crushes or ex girlfriends, because that probably would have been embarrassing to me, or I would have been sad that I would have lost it to someone I wouldn't even want to talk to in six months.

But I AM disappointed that I haven't found anyone that is (to me) worth losing it to them.

I'm a bit sad that I'm not married, engaged, or even that I struggle to find a girlfriend, I'm sad that it's so difficult to talk to women I find attractive; so in a way, I AM a little disappointed that I haven't lost it at my age. But I am glad I waited considering the alternative.

  • I never regretted it before but I met a girl today and we hit it off and I'm seeing her over the weekend and right now I wish I wasn't the only vergin in the equation. I have so many questions and overthinking too many details. So yeah I kinda regret it.

  • I am still a virgin and I don’t regret that, but if I’d lost my virginity I wouldn’t regret it either. I trust my own judgement.

Not necessarily saving myself, I’ve just not had the opportunity to lose it.

    • My previous boyfriend was a virgin at the age of 28 so there’s no need to feel regret. You’ll know when the time is right. I was his first serious relationship. I’ve had a few boyfriends who were virgins when I met them I didn’t judge them for there choice and it’s your body.

    • @ECityGirl89 I lost my virginitya way much older than you but it was because I dont like to fool around with guys just because I had to loose it, or beause youy have to loose it. And I lost it just some coupleor years ago but I lsot it unfortunately with a guy I did like and was very attracted to , the firs ttime was half enjoyable and half not enjoyable but it was with a guy I did like a lot and met 5 years back but the down size is that even if we had sex another time after my first time,, we were not in a relationship or even serious

    • I lost it at age 18 with my first boyfriend and I fell for him. But we ended for reasons. We met at summer camp and he was a Camp counselor I was just the camper. He was two years older than me had to get approval from the camp itself. Yet I have been out of a relationship for 6 months getting back into the dating world and figuring what I want.

  • I wish I still had my V Card... I lost mine before 12yo... I feel it would have changed my life in so many ways for the positive.

    • It becomes what you make of it in the moment 😉 Just don't let funny feelings dictate your way of life.

  • No, I'm waiting until marriage. Sex is sex to me, so it doesn't matter if I have it with 5 people or 1 person, and I believe it's a better guarantee to be safer and secure in a marriage.

  • I never even had an opportunity to lose it.

    • I had like one and blew it.

  • Sometimes I do. But then I remember all the bad stories 90% of my female friends have shared of their first time as teens... I'd rather wait for someone special, I'll be more comfortable and thus more likely to enjoy myself in the moment

  • No, I don't regret it. I'm actually very glad I haven't. Waiting has given me time to think about what my main goals are, and I realize that getting laid isn't one of them right now.

  • No, my first sexual experiences were when I was 26 to the man that became my husband. I mostly feel like I dodged a lot of bad experiences and crappy heartbreaks.

  • Lost it at 17 and I cannot imagine having to wait till my 20s. That would have been terrible, I like that I lost it in my teens

  • I lost my virginity in my 20s and I didn't regret it at all.

    • well thats because ur smart

    • dumb people over think it and put too much value in it... "oh, he's not the right person.." "i want it to be with someone i love" "no sex before marriage.." blah blah blah... all that crap, but what they dont realise is theyre wasting their time not having sex for all those years and missing out, sex is not that important, its jus a good feeling, jus a pleasure in ur genitalia... its like going to mcdonalds,,,, u dont wait years to go to mcdonalds jus to find the right person to go with do u? jus go as often as u can... same with sex... and it can't damage ur health like mcdonalds can, so its a win win situation

    • only smart people like me and u realise its not that important

  • Sometimes. I don’t really have much of an interest in sex but at the same time I kinda just wanna experience it.

  • I'm Curious how Many people are Virgins over 20, Especially who are on this App?

  • I was 21. Wish it had been sooner.

  • I lost my virginity 6 months ago to my boyfriend whose 26 who was also a virgin too. I can say im so glad i waited till i found someone deserving of my love and affection and so does my boyfriend.

Good things come to does who wait could have never been so ture till i met my boyfriend. he's the love of my life and im so glad i lost it to him and he was a virgin to it made the experience so much more special

  • Yes I did. Only because as we age we become more judgmental about ourselves and more untrustful of people. So it would have been nice to be more uninhabited at the time rather than more uptight about it.

  • I was either 20 or just turned 21.

I regret not losing it sooner.

  • Im saving myself for marriage. So nope no regrets at all.

  • Not at all

  • They should. Missed opportunities cannot be recovered!
