I'm a virgin at 19 and have been quite happy not to have given away my virginity just to anyone so far.
I don't think virginity is that important, but I think it's important not to have your first sexual experience be traumatising in whatever way.
Your first time sounds like it traumatised you and that's quite unfortunate.
Having sex with an 18-year-old wasn't the best idea. The way you described it, this guy is an average player who has one night stands on occasion. He went out of the experience satisfied, because he had gotten what you expected, while your primary objective seems to have been to lose your virginity.
What's next for you now? I don't understand why you had your first time with someone who didn't want to follow up on your sexuality.
In my humble opinion, it would've been wiser to wait for someone you feel very comfortable around (relationship or not doesn't matter) and who will continue to have sex with you for at least a month - that's how you're able to explore your sexuality.
What you described wasn't a positive encounter, I'm sorry this happened in the way it did and wish you all the sexual happiness I could possibly wish you.
Judging from your other posts, you are not educated about the female or male body at all. Please make sure to study the female menstrual cycle and both female and male anatomy before you have sex the next time.0 0 0 0I just read your update and I think you're overreacting. Don't take everything too seriously. You had consensual sex, it was your hoice and that's that! Don't let what people say on here affect you, log out or delete your account, life without G@G is better anyways.

22 is late compared to the average, so yes, I would call it a late bloomer, which is only good if it is mainly because you were not ready :)
I am also a late bloomer, kinda years later than you since I did not start my real sex life till I was 27. I did however, have my first time with a guy I dated when I was 22, but it was a bit pressured so it only happened once and then we broke it off.
Then I did not find/meet any guys who I wanted a relationship with for years until I started exploring a sex life with nice, funny, respectful men when I was mature and comfortable with myself as an adult.1 0 0 0

Nothing wrong with being a late bloomer. It was your decision to make and have sex when you did just recently.
If people say you are a loser or poke fun at you for it, ignore them. Sex isn't something to take lightly because losing your virginity is not only something that can only happen once, but you give it up to either the one you want to be with or because you are ready. No shame in being a late bloomer.
I was 25 when I first lost mine. Nothing changed outside of the fact I was no longer a virgin and I finally experienced something I had only seen in movies, porn or heard my friends talking about their weekends.0 0 0 0There is nothing set in stone and every person has a different time that they do things. You are doing just fine. Remember to always keep smiling as you move forward in life and know the words of a very wiseman once sang in a song, "Don't worry about a thing, cause everything is gonna be alright."

0 3 0 0speaking about God? Not being rude but as a catholic, God looks down on pre-marital sex. Not judging just saying! Good luck.
I wouldn't call 22 particularly late.
Anyway, I was 35. I had certain mental barriers holding me back, particularly on physical intimacy. Was only after talking to shrink at 35, and meeting a patient woman (my ex) that I worked through things.1 2 0 0I was 22 and it was a one nightstand with somebody I just met. I had a long distance relationship with somebody else and it was the only time I ever cheated on somebody. I regret it.
1 0 0 0Hmm?
I grew up in a different time and had a different reality. I also cheated on somebody I loved because I had a momentary weakness. THat is why I had regret. You felt that you were ready and you didn't have a boyfriend at the time and you just did what you thought was best for you. Nobody has a right to judge you.
I had it after marriage at 27

0 1 0 0I had to wait till 26 because they guy I was with from 21 till then was a little bitch and didn't want sex. Could have been a ONS but we ended up dating for 2 years. He turned out to be an idiot so I had to leave him.
