I've heard some people will set their phones to a constant vibrate and use that. I think there's apps to download specifically for this function of continuous vibration until turned off. You would of course want to cover your phone with something to protect it from fluids, but a zip lock bag or similar would crinkle and make noise. A condom would be best but they're not designed to stretch over such a shape & would either break, or put too much pressure on the side buttons and bug things up on the phone, or just wouldn't get it on.

I may suggest cling wrap to place around/on your phone, which is easily disposable and parents wouldn't notice a bit of cling wrap missing here and there from the roll. You also avoid having some odd item lingering around your room like a cucumber or electric toothbrush.
