The directors have their private little fetishes... they are the ones obsessed with showing it. Even in American movies... people love romance and often want the stars to have feelings for each other and we are often happy the lead male and female "get together" in the end. But, film and TV usually portray their romance explicitly. They do not show them together in scenes expressing feelings for each other... with the eyes and facial expressions... maybe holding hands... maybe a kiss.
Film is obsessed with actually showing intimacy. The intimacy that usually only exists between two people in a relationship. They are obsessed with having the actors perform intimate acts on screen. They have to have open mouthed, passionate kisses with a co-star, they have to rip each others clothes off and fall into bed writhing on each other, they have to take off their clothes and reveal their intimate areas to the film crew and be recorded permanently, they have to grab, caress and fondle each other.

I'd say it ends with the director. It is their vision and I think they get off on directing this because they secretly want it themselves. They get off on getting people to do this.

You've Got Mail... Gone With the Wind... Sleepless in Seattle... etc. There are tons of famous films... films people love for their romance and as you see (if you've seen them), the actors don't have to have passionate love scenes requiring them to perform real life intimacies with a co-worker. It is all about the acting, the dialogue... the "relationship". At most there is one brief kiss. These films are highly successful, beloved, classics.

So asking actors to actually be soft core porn stars/sex workers and in your examples above... actual porn stars/prostitutes... basically boils down to the character and hearts of directors and the character of the actor/actress. Give them a film role. Give them money and the promise of "fame" and they'll whore themselves out and do anything.

It's totally obscure that's not fine what example do this films give to, children men? They will grow up and behave in the same way, treat women like objects and not like individuals human beings.
