What are your thoughts on transgenderism?

Some will support them and their transition, others say they’re mentally ill and need help, some don’t care either way as long as it doesn’t affect them. I want people’s candid opinions here.

Superb Opinion

  • I think regardless of how you feel on the inside, you are what you are from a biological standpoint and trans people need to understand that not everyone will be comfortable dating them or accepting them as biological to the gender they've transitioned too.

They should also open about it in the dating world at too, due to the above.

That being said, I totally disagree with people who treat them harshly due to them being trans, like as long as they're a good person and treat others well, that's way more important, especially if they're also honest and open about it.

  • This seems like a luxury of our relatively prosperous era in history.

Should we be living during the Hundred Years' War, in the vast Mongol Empire (where there was no predominant, much-taken-for-granted Judeo-Christian concept of rape being a sin, much less a crime) especially during the inhumanely brutal mass-invasion/expansion phase, during the Bubonic & Pneumonic Plagues that eradicated 60% of Europe, under Tausug slavery (put in storage not by wussy chains, but by having rope passed through your punctured/sliced open palms and knotted before & after each hand), struggling not to die from diarrhea (which was a lethal sickness even a century ago!), or running for your life from a pack of hungry wolves who already devoured some of your loved-ones days ago, such things would scarcely be a concern.

    • This raises an interesting question: How do wolves feel about transgenderism?

    • @EnglishEuropean lol That also does raise the question on actual wolves (alpha-dogs?) actually wanting to be literal b—es! 🤣

  • I'm reluctant to even weigh in on the subject because I ask a lot of questions, and when I do, it elicits hateful comments.
I have some concerns about it, but I'll be the first to admit I don't know a lot about it.
It doesn't affect me directly, and I have nothing against people who make their own life choices.

  • I don't really care what they choose to do with their lives because it's not my concern. I believe in letting people live their lives the way they want to. I still support them too in the sense that they should be treated with respect and that people should respect their rights.

  • I 100% support them. Everyone has a right to feel comfortable with who they are.

  • I don’t care what they do as long as they don’t try to involve me, because then it doesn’t affect me.

  • This life is so short and so often cruel that I support anyone who's trying to make the most of their time here, as long as others aren't made to suffer because of that--and, no, I don't consider bigots' confusion to be suffering.

  • I don't care what they do, just leave me alone

  • Mentally ill, and physicians who help people do this to themselves should have their medical licenses revoked.

  • I don't care, as long as they don't try to force me to lie to myself or them because they're insecure. You can live your life however you want. You can't force me to live my life however you want, though. That's when we'll start to have problems.

What are your thoughts on transgenderism?
  • I believe that they are mentally ill, they are like people who think that they are cats.

  • Providing they don't effect or interfere with my life then I'm happy to Live and Let Live.

  • I dont care what people do with their bodies but I dont like when parents let their kids who are really young make their own decision to have a sex change. They can't even vote and they just let them decide something as big as having a sex change. At least make them wait until they are a lot older to decide that.

  • I have one mayor issue with it.
Too many people interchange sex with gender.
For the people who transition from one sex to the other, they earned my respect.

  • I support it, because thanks to transgender laws, men can compete in female categories, so we will win easily.

    • Either way, it's still a mental illness.

    • When I said compete, I am referring to sports.

  • Tbh, I find them annoying, but it's whatever, I guess

  • Fraud, obscenity, and perversion live there, not the truth. The fact is that human gender is not interchangeable.

  • They are crazy.

  • I support them in the sense that I support their right to choose how they live their own life. They're not mentally ill. Body dysmorphia is a mental disorder but what transgender people have is gender dysphoria, which is not a mental illness. It's just how they are.

  • False advertising imao

  • They're good people. I haven't got to meet one though.

  • Don’t support them and never will

  • I don't fully understand the situation. But I would fully accept their wanting to change.

I don't know how a girl with boobs and a vagina can change to a boy with a penis, no boobs or vagina. And also the other change a boy to a girl.

  • If you want to sterilize yourself because you don't think your biological sex represents who you are, that's your problem. Don't make me pay for your surgeries, don't make me agree with your decision and for the love of God, keep my children out of it. Trans activists seem to be really hell-bent on messing with children for some reason.
