I'm a 29 year old male, living in south Texas. Needless to say, it's hot and humid down here. Wearing thongs has been a relatively recent thing for me, and I love it! Aside from the fact that it helps wearing less clothing under clothing in hot conditions, I love how I look in them and feel they accentuate my body. Thongs also inspire me to work on maintaining a good physique and by all means, anyone, man or woman, look great in a sexy thong. Open mindedness is key and sexuality is something completely irrelevant if you really know and love your partner. I want to believe that my confidence and physical appearance will make the thong and not the other way around.

This said, I decided to try men's "Thongs" to see if that would cool things down even more.

I've started wearing them, and I feel a lot more comfortable! I mostly stick to the colors Navy Blue or Black though. I stay dryer, and sweat-free and do not feel as though I have a bunch of cloth stuck down my pants.
What does my wife think? Well, she just rolls her eyes and smiles.

I'm a heterosexual married guy, we have 1 kid, and I am very confident about my sexual preferences and definitely don't feel gay. I adore my wife and do not intend to explore other areas. This said I do have a thong fetish that developed the last few years. I have a well-trained lean body narrow waist, and round buttcheeks. You could say I am a bit vain and critical about my appearance.
One day I saw a website where they sold men's thongs. I wondered about how it would look on me, so I secretly bought one. In my opinion, it looked awesome, and I loved the feeling of freedom, especially the lack of sweaty boxers on a hot summer day. So I started to wear them more often, it turns me on every time I wear them. I bought another few and my kink was born. Now I only want to wear thongs, even to work or go out with male friends. I keep it hidden to everyone but recently my wife found out.
At first, she was reluctant and disliked my new habits, but we extensively discussed my kink and decided I was able to wear them on special occasions. I gave the argument, that it was a kink I shared only with her, that cheating would never be an option as potential dates would laugh at me, that wearing them doesn't make me gay or change my attraction towards her, that it turns me on, and many other arguments that I found valid. This was about a year ago and my thong fetish hasn't grown on her (which I hoped it would), but she accepts it as a part of my personality.
What surprises me is the short-minded general view that thongs and g-strings can only be worn by women. Imagine you start with a clear, non-biased view, not influenced by society, and assume that during the invention of the thong the general view is that thongs are for men and boxers for women. Then we all would automatically assume this was the only accepted way and diverting from this would be awkward and weird. So maybe looking at this with a more open view would create a greater acceptance of men wearing thongs. And you ladies may even find it sexy, just like we men find it sexy on you. (In all cases with the right BMI).
In some parts of the world men only wear cloth in front of their genitals,(Africa) or men wear long white ropes and kiss each other on the cheek to say hello (middle east). We as westerners find this weird, but locally it's not. My point is, that it's a mindset, an imprinted view by society, that could be changed by being more open-minded.
I find it funny how these girls say girls can wear whatever they want but tell guys what they shouldn't wear :/

what difference does it make... whether you wear a thong, brief or a boxer as your underwear... Its underwear not to be shown to others... one should wear which is comfortable...
