According to WHO, female genital mutilation (FGM) is a traditional harmful practice that involves the partial or total removal of external female genitalia or other injury to female genital organs for non-medical reasons.
I find it barbaric. No one should have to go through it. It is done mainly for religious reasons and to lower female sex drive. It is dangerous and deprives these women of clitoral orgasms.
Any genital mutilation is horrible including male genital mutilation which really should never be referred to as circumcision because it's really mutilation.

I think the people that do this to females should be locked in a room and tortured for days. Those people are going to hell anyway, since that is kind of a sin interfering with a woman's ability to bring a baby into the world.
