46 is old to be having a baby. She would be a high risk pregnancy immediately and there would most likely be complications. Overall though; her body her choice. Have you been in this situation before? I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision. I personally don't think I could have one - however if I knew I wouldn't be able to care for it properly I would begin to weigh the options I have.

There are numerous good reasons why someone should have an abortion that aren't related to medical necessity. There's already far too many children looking to be adopted, why add to that? Sure, people would adopt a baby in an instant, but that just takes up a potential home that could go to an already developed child in need. Rather than potentially subject a child to an uncertain life of poverty, cruelty, and other terrible things, it's better to get an abortion (especially if the pregnancy was from a rape).

I personally can't image I would do it, I however 100% support a woman's choice! I think if a woman's choice should ever change and women who get an abortion are punished, the male who got her pregnant should also be punished accordingly!

You said if abortion became illegal, they ought to punish the man also who got her pregnant but I asked what if the woman agreed the man could get her pregnant? Then he wouldn't have done anything wrong as she gave him permission to have sex.

Considering I cannot ever have a baby then I'd have no choice but to abort the baby. I'm sure there are reasons why a woman chooses to abort rather than go through the pregnancy, which is most likely personal to her.
