6 27Depending on their age and the subordinate there are several motivations. Close age is that they don't really see it as weird. It's just sex to them. It won't be a relationship. Bigger age gaps generally have to do with reclaiming youth, or a title when tou wre young. You are sleeping with a younger person which gives you the idea you still have the ability to attract people younger than you. That's a huge ego boost, which makes you feel better
Deviance and moral turpitude.
Those are pedophiles who need proper education and therapy
They feel a sense of entitlement because of the power imbalance.
If they r minors then it’s wrong. If they r both consenting adults then no issue

Back when I was in high school there were male teachers who did that and everybody knew about it. They would have relationships with 16 or 17 year old girls in the school. My sister's friend was one of them... having a relationship with a teacher who I believe was in his 30s. Everyone knew about it but just kept quiet.
Even though it was wrong, and everybody knew it was going on, back then nothing happened to them. It was just accepted... not considered a really big deal although everyone knew it was forbidden.
Today of course it's a different story. And it should be because a child that age isn't able to process a sexual relationship with anyone let alone an adult. They need to be protected.
A lot of times they are immensely insecure and sick people who are not equipped to be around minors and should have never been allowed to teach.
