What do you think is the most attractive accent?

For me, it's Irish. I'm not sure why, there's just something about it.

I live and hail from sunny Singapore and while I am not the biggest fan of Singlish (Though most of us Singaporeans have the ability to speak perfect English, many opt for the use of Singlish, which is an informal, colloquial form of English that incorporates words from different languages and cultures.)

While many older Singaporeans speak Singlish as they are not highly educated and cannot speak proper English, many youngsters these days, despite being highly qualified and educated, tend to prefer using Singlish in informal settings as it makes them feel ‘uniquely Singaporean’.

Personally, for me, I dislike the use of Singlish and find it a complete turn-off. I find the Singaporean accent highly sexy in girls who are educated and comport themselves with grace and dignity. These girls still have a uniquely Singaporean accent whilst speaking proper English.

I also find the British, French and Italian accents to be highly attractive. Like yourself, I cannot point a finger to what exactly about it I find attractive, just a certain je ne sais quoi.
