What do you think of the women who defend or support sex workers, but scorn men who go to them?

I never understood this. You have women out there who defend/support sex workers, but think guys who go to them are trash. Thoughts? Disclaimer: I personally am not 100% against sex workers, but I'm also not 100% against guys who use them either. I guess I'm in the middle, but my political views don't really matter here, this is about women who support them but hate men who use them.

  • Hipocrates?

  • The only women I know who do that apply it strictly to their OWN boyfriends ! LOL

  • Dual standards, oh she is doing it out of necessity. Well, a girl who got in sex work could get a job too. I am not against completely but somewhere in middle but this playing innocent is wrong

  • I've never seen such a woman

    • But the difference is between work and play.

  • I don't know why it happens ... but sex workers aren’t bad people , neither are they dum... it’s just the concern about safety.

    • That isn't the same thing as what the question is asking.

    • Well for a guy who has no female partner or obligation , honestly there is nothing wrong with them doing that. Like the guys have to be careful of STDS and stuff. As long as the guy don’t hurt her in anyway , it’s all business.

    • @heyitsbianca "but sex workers aren’t bad people , neither are they dum" Neither are the men who use their services.

  • It doesn't make sense at all. Both are equally wrong. The only difference is that there are many cases where the female prostitutes are actually innocent because they've been exploited and they didn't willingly choose that life. Whereas the men who use them are always guilty.

    • @jamie05rhs Misandrist self hater much?

    • @joeblow123. No; not at all. I love myself. I live a moral life. I have nothing to be ashamed of.

    • @jamie05rhs So the moral life is to blame men and excuse women? That is not my definition of morality.

  • It's total hypocrisy and if their logic was applied, it couldn't exist.

  • it's all because of daddy issues.

  • They are hypocrites. No thought process needed.

  • That is hypocritical

  • Its one of the professions that is popular , sadly it cannot be done under safer ways..

  • Sex workers are in it not for the fun of it. Many have kids and need to feed their kids. Some are addicts. Those need cash for the dope man.

I never look down upon those who are desperate and do what they do to get buy. I have know a few addicts who car hop to make a fast pile of cash just to buy drugs. Two girls I know were clean for awhile then went back out. One girl was MIA for a week and was found dead in a cheap motel. I got a call at 12 at night. I knew she was dead before I picked up the phone. So as a guy I do look down on guys who use women for sex. They need to know that their money may ultimately kill them

  • Its hypocrisy.

  • well there dumb cause sex workers make money threw sex

  • Hypocrites

  • Well I commend them for putting up with us despite. our questionable behavior ,,,😁... Cause likely they r not wrong about then men... any more observations need clarifying?

  • An excellent question.

  • sounds like double-standard hypocrisy

    • @greengold1992 "sounds like double-standard hypocrisy". In all its ugliness.

  • Because for women it means they are sexually desirable and for men it means they are not sexually desirable. Men and women are not the same. This is the answer to half the questions on GAG. Its obvious but everyones PC minds can't cope with it.

    • Yep, this is very true.

  • It's hypocritical, of course! Lots of women out there want maximum freedom AND maximum control over men. The same is true for lots of men.
