When a physically attractive man walks by her, for example, what goes through her mind? What parts of a man is she most fixated on? What does attraction feel like?
I only know what it feels like for a man to be physically attracted to a woman, and am curious about the differences and similarities.
Okay I sharing my feelings hope you understand.

If I see an atttactive guy in the street or just around the first thing i end up seeing is his physique (sorry, I know it sounds shallow), but that's not the whole basis of it. Generally his eyes are the deal breaker. I'll just melt for a man with beautiful eyes. When I see him I generally feel what you described, a tightening in my stomach mostly. Oh and my chest feels tighter too. When I see attractive women I don't feel anything at all, rather I think- oh hey, she's pretty. However it's a totally different feeling. It's more of an appreciation as opposed to an attraction. Does that help at all?

@notsoromantic that's really a hard question to answer, because it really varies. Kindness is a huge one, because arrogance is such a turn-off. If he has a nice personality I'm immediately drawn to him and everything else seems better. A swimmers body is my preferred type, but again, beautiful eyes will make the man. If he smiles lots and I can just get lost in his eyes I forget about everything else and find him incredibly attractive. But I'll say some fine swimmers abs can be around any day and I'll be all over that guy. Basically if the guy is a decent human being with a sense of humour and a passion about something I find myself into him.

I can't speak for other women, but perhaps they're confusing attraction and actually wanting to actually have sex. There's a difference between: "Hey, I'd totally hit that, in theory" & actually being open to engaging in sex and taking that risk.
