Love and sex are supposed to go together.


Sex without love is unnatural and one will only successfully keep them separate and compartmentalized after a lot of conditioning and desensitization.


Sex between two people who don’t love each other is unnatural and unhealthy. (Especially for one’s mental health.)


People can become desensitized to what one SHOULD feel emotionally when having sex.


And I believe that this is happening because of hookup culture and likely overconsumption of pr0n.


Real human connection is undervalued.


Imagine a dating world where genuine emotional connection was what people sought the most when meeting people, instead of chasing quick thrills that don’t last, or worse, an endless void of seeking validation and never receiving it.

@najekim I’m aware of people who are in open relationships and there are people that swing. I’m just saying that love and sex are supposed to go together (as my controversial opinion). I expect that not everybody would agree with that statement. There may be even people who may think love and sex are NOT supposed to pair together. And if they think that, they are free to think that. I don’t imply that only my views are valid.
