I was wanting some insight from men and women who have used these platforms. I just want to know what your general experience was. Was it positive or negative. Was it fun? Is it easy to meet people who have the same intentions you have?
Waste of time. But that's likely because I'm a relic.. I actually like people... You know meeting them... Actually being able to see them in person...

It's difficult. At least for men. I don't like it so much. Also a lot of those Apps want money in order to show you the persons who like you. It's waaaay easier to flirt in real life

I tried them all besides the pay sites. No luck in two years. One woman kept chatting but never wanted to meet. Needless to say, i dropped that like a hot rock

Every match I get, gets unmatched when I talk to them. Everyone says they're not there for hook-ups. Hard to find fellow metalheads.

You say "hookup site". POF seems like everyone wants a relationship. Tinder, at least for me is a complete farse. I used AFF and had lots more success. You have to work it, but it's way better

pure garbage is what it is. all of it. tinder is just a deluxe version of garbage. Any women I talked to on there had major self esteem issues, daddy issues, psychiatric issues and so on. Plus every girl posts the same damn types of pics, same stupid "inspirational" quotes, how she loves to hike (literally every girl says that) and all that shit.

OKC and POF a few years ago were good. I had met interesting people I say interesting because on POF I met a person who was completely deluded , no concept of reality. OkCupid actually met someone really lovely & decent. Last year I've had no luck on either with the strangest of ladies approaching me. I must have approached in different ways about couple of hundred and had no response. So either online dating has changed drastically in the last few years or there's an entirely unexplainable reason from my side. One thing I have observed is that the women on these dating sites are mostly quite good looking and well figured... compared to a few years ago where there was a good mix off very average women.

I guess it was fun initially. I have had about 4 matches in the whole time I've used it, none went anywhere but one chick who is very attractive just wanted friends with benefits but I wasn't down. So to sum it up I guess it's worth a try but don't get your hopes up. Getting good pics and a good bio are also very useful at significantly improving your match rate.

Terrible. Few people replied, and the ones that did eventually quit talking to me. Most of the women were unattractive and still wouldn't talk to me. Tried using Tinder, but it wouldn't accept my card.
