Well I'm not gunna argue that you're not straight if that's what you're expecting you know your own mind, not me. But not all people are naturally straight. There are gay animals too lol. Naturally we are many things. More people are straight than not, kind of like this poll shows but definitely not every single person is straight and then they decide to be or are influenced to be otherwise. It might be some aspect of it in some cases but that can be said for the reverse as well, which is probably more common (a more natually gay or bisexual person adopting strict heterosexual tendencies).

I think what's interesting is to actually ask 'what does that mean'?
Most cis-gender people can walk around treating external physical sex and gender as interchangeable.
So when we say we're 'straight' do we mean we're attracted to (for a male) people who identify as women, or people with vaginas?
I suspect it's a bit of A, and a lot of B.
I'm extremely curious about what tanglible things determine sexual attraction. Strictly speaking, is there some way to perceive biological sex vs trans? Is a truly straight person only going to be able to be sexually attracted to genetically male/female person? Do you have to be somehow interested in the same sex to find a transitioned person attractive not merely in apperance but in real life contact?
By transitioned, are you talking full surgeries, etc? I think for many non-bisexuals, the idea of sex with someone of their non-desired gender isn't just something they're ambivalent to, it's something they find horrifying. So even if the person completely looked and behaved in a way they found attractive, simply knowing would destroy it for them. It's something like if you saw someone really attractive, and then they were like 'oh that's your dad, we put his brain in a new body' and maybe you'd be like NONONONONONO, at least if anti-incest kicks in hard for you. I know one transman (some surgeries, more this year, on hormones since before i met them) but i dont' know any transwomen, so i don't know how i emotionally would feel around one i found attractive, i've never been there. An example I've thought of is, i'm attracted to women, i like the idea of anal sex, would i have anal with a pre-op feminine gay-transman? Does it matter if i'm thinking of them as a woman?
That incest comparison, I lost my shit it was so funny. Really keen and relatable comparison though. Forced me to understand that perspective.
