If some of us were not created to have an almost uncontrollable craving for sex, than why are there so many male bible characters that had several wives, or one wife and several concubines, or both, in order to satisfy his craving.
Even some women trapped in these harems who were not selected that day for the sexual pleasure of their master may have resorted to a lesbian affair to satisfy her overwhelming craving for the sexual satisfaction that she needed until her turn came up again.
Was that the devil causing all those sexual needs in both men and women, or were we given those needs and desires by God from birth?

Not true. God wanted them to have sex and to "be fruitful and multiply". The "apple" or fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was a whole separate matter.
So I thought about this A LOT. I don't think women have too much sexual drive (they have it but it's not as strong and men are always using THIER as an excuse for BAD and often evil behavior). Let be clear I don't think premarital sex is evil I'm talking about other things. I think God made a mistake making men have a strong sexual drive.
Sexual desire was programmed into our core program to ensure we keep reproducing despite the burden of raising a child.
Life is so much of more understandable if you stop looking for divine reasons. We like sex because of we're descended from a long line of people who successfully reproduced.

With that said you can use the bible to argue very easily that chastity is not religious. That comes from the church. not the bible. Scripture says "BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY".
That basically means, spread your seed and have as much sex as possible. That was basically one of the first directives of God. That is why our bodies are created with lust and desire. For the purpose of sex. We were created first by god prior to punishments in the garden of Eden.
I really dont know anything in the bible which says that you need to refrain from sex before marriage. I dont know anything in the bible that says that sex is evil. Not only that... but when it comes to King David and many other well regarded figures of the bible... sex and infidelity is celebrated. I mean, what husband has a barren wife and is celebrated by God for having sex with the maid in the home? The bible is so insane and contradictory.

Note: It mentions fornication as distinct from adultery, yet still worthy of being judged by God. Deuteronomy 17:17 (concerning kings having several wives) "He shall not multiply wives for himself, or else his heart will turn away; nor shall he greatly increase silver and gold for himself. Just because David did it, doesn't mean it's "celebrated". Look up Amnon and Absalom who were born to separate wives. And we're not "celebrating" the Arab/Israeli conflict either, nor did the Bible celebrate Abraham/Sarah/Hagar.

@apope16 Have you never looked up to anyone? If you have, I can tell you that person (outside of Jesus) is flawed. Some of David's qualities were great, some were REALLY bad. I don't think the Bible hides that fact. I mean the guy committed adultery and murder. The Bible doesn't hide the fact. Four of his children died untimely deaths. When Absalom died, David said he wished he had died instead of his son, and I believe him. But then he even got told off for saying that. 2 Samuel 12:10 'Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.' But in spite of this he was forgiven... Psalm 32 Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. So, he had consequences for sin and forgiveness for sin. What more do you want?

God gave people sexual desire, but the sin nature inherent in us causes people to obsess over it, people tend to overstimulate themselves by doing things like watching pornography, the more they stimulate it, the more it grows, and it causes them to focus on it, dwell on it, till it consumes their every thought.
Think of it this way, God programmed us with sexual desire, but the sin nature in us is like a glitch that causes it not to be as it should be.
God created sex, it is a gift of intimacy between a man and a woman that reflects God's love. It is for procreation as well, but enjoying each other is part of it, if it wasn't meant that way God could have easily designed reproduction in another way. He just as well designed sex to be enjoyed, the Song of Songs speaks lengthily in poetry of the pleasures of sex, the beauty of a young woman like that of a doe, always finding pleasure in her supple breasts etc. But it is always between a married man and woman.
Desire God created, but lust is a sin that came with the Fall of Mankind and is exploited by the Devil. He uses our lust to pervert our natural desires into selfish, ungodly, and unnatural lusts. God's love is not selfish, it's a giving and free flowing love, which is what true sex between man and woman is supposed to be. And the Devil also tempts us to treat sex casually, as trivial, no big deal, just a pleasure of life to be enjoyed whenever. But that degrades its holy purpose. That is why sex within the sanctity of marriage is its true and pure form, that puts sex in its proper, glorious place. Between a man and woman in the bonds of matrimony, sex is not only celebrated but commanded by the Bible. Neither the man shall deny his wife, nor the wife deny the man intimacy when married, because God knows it's important, he made it after all.
Of course, from all we know of Revelations, the coming new world order that God will impose on the cosmos, and the Kingdom he'll create on a renewed earth and heaven won't include sex any longer nor marriage. Because ultimately it is only a poor imitation of God's presence which can never be surpassed, and is what all humans secretly need and crave.

God has nothing to do with your will to do as you please accept you will be held responsible for your actions. When you decide to drink did got give you the Alcohol or did you walk to it with your own will and decided you want to drink. Billions of people live on earth without the need for alcohol or pervert ideas. Society place a big role in the way you interpret life and most times when we want keep doing something wrong we Justify by saying God says so taking Bible or any other religious book out of context. So before we blame God. We should ask ourselves why am even here on earth was it for enjoyment? To begin with. No it's a test. Real enjoyment begins when you go back to your REAL PERMEANT HOME.
