Prince Albert piercings have scarred me since I saw the movie Teeth as a teenager... it is the ring that goes through the urethra and it takes a long time to heal. I don’t know how it feels but that piercing can rip condoms.
A lot of tribes do an Ampalang piercing and the women like that because it apparently feels good... but it looks real painful because it goes horizontally through the head of the penis.
Clitoral hood piercings are just VJ bling. The Vertical hood one stimulates the clit and the horizontal one is just for decoration. Those heal easily , and don’t take long to heal. Actual clitoral piercings are very rare and you need the anatomy for them... and they are very painful.
I also think labia piercings look like they would get in the way.
I think maybe some piercings are ok and maybe if it’s just 1 and not multiple
I got a clitoral hood piercing. Honestly, just like any piercing, you gotta be into it and appreciate them. Everyone has different opinions. I personally love these piercing.
I have my hood pierced as well. I used to have a Christina piercing down there too, but that one grew out.

I don't think there's a double standard. Piercing a clitoris or penis is much more risky than piercing a clitoral hood. That's why women are more likely to have a genital piercing. I believe women enjoy piercings more than guys do. Women get their ears pierced. Some women get their noses pierced. Piercings are body jewelry for women. Most women enjoy wearing jewelry. What's infuriating is feeling like your piercings make you look unattractive to the opposite sex. You shouldn't feel that way. Most males, including myself, can't imagine getting their genitals, lips, noses, belly buttons, or ears pierced. That's the reason why some of them act like body piercings are disgusting. Body piercings are not like tattoos. They are not permanent. The vertical hood piercing is very common. I think it definitely looks better than the Christina piercing.
I would never pursuit it myself. About the opposite sex, i find it sexy in a way. But yet, that is not something that i would necessarily crave madly.
Generally it doesn't seem to serve a very strong purpose.
