I knew when I was like 8, it's just natural for them to find out themselves or school will teach them, it's not necessary and awkward for a child to be talking about sex with their mum/dad

When they start asking questions. If you are bringing your kids up the right way, they WILL ask questions! The thing for parents is to be open and honest. No fobbing off with half truths!

Do parents actually sit and talk about sex with their children? I don't know I never had the talk so I wouldn't know. Learnt about sex through porn pretty much
