23 38My parents have always been strict and they still are strict.
My parents got divorced when I was in my teens and they were too busy dealing with their own stuff that I basically did whatever I wanted to do.

They were pretty strict in my early teens but I got a job at 16 and they backed off
I started smoking and drinking as well as dating and they could stop me as it was my own money and part of the social aspects of the job as well as college
Parents weren't home a lot, and when I was 14 our first time was easy in my bedroom as we went home together after school. My mom and I were comfortable talking about sex and protection so they were permissive.
By the time I was 12 my parents were divorce. So, by the time I was a teen me and my sister were being raised by our dad. he was gone before we got up for school and he come home from work around 5 or 5:30. So we pretty much ran the house.
Ohhh definitely, the relationship you have with your parents set the president for the sexual and non sexual relationships you form.

Not strict at all
My parents were frankly strict, I wasn't allowed to do as much without getting into trouble plus I just mostly stayed at home and done school work so basically my teenage years fucking sucked.
My mother was a very strict Baptist woman who went to an all girls Catholic boarding school for 12-13 years. My father was a little more laid back.
Mine were not strict at all. I had it really easy actually

Therefore, I never asked a girl out in high school, because I didn't want a situation where I wouldn't be able to see her because I was grounded. I didn't want to put her through that drama. I didn't want to break her heart.
My mother was the exact opposite.
Permissive. Me and my sister got away with a lot.
