Whenever guys have a boner, do they need to release themselves as well?

Or would the thing eventually become soft naturally?

  • What? lol That would mean we'd have to ejaculate like a hundred times a day. A quick boner happens constantly throughout the day. Most of the time it's not even necessarily because of specific sexual stimulation or arousal. Often it's just a random physiological reaction to whatever. May it be friction or anything else.
If it was like you're asking, it would mean we couldn't get aroused in between. Like, it would mean we couldn't for instance make out with someone without it always having to lead to ejaculation.
I don't mea any offense by saying this, but you clearly haven't thought this through, have you? lol

    • But I take it you have ever been intimate with a guy before and grew up in conservative surroundings without proper sex-ed?

  • As a general rule of thumb, guys' arousals are like light switches. Erections can come and go within seconds. Regardless of whether he's horny or not. When it comes to needing to release themselves? Unless he's actually horny, they don't need to find release. However, it does help, thanks to the refractory period. This can actually prevent arousal for a decent amount of time - depending on the guy, this could be for several hours or even a full day.

In short: is it necessary? No. Does it help? Yes.

  • Both. If he doesn’t touch it, it usually goes soft eventually. But just like with girls, it’s very tempting to touch it. That’s why people masturbate if they can’t or don’t wanna have sex. Because the release feels so good.

    • Getting a boner for a very long time can result in him releasing a little without even touching it..

    • @kekeke5226 ikr!!

    • @kekeke5226 you can see the wet spot grow a little sometimes. Girls too. Only if you’re like really close and they’re not tryna hide it though.

  • No, in fact the average guy will get around 11 erections a day, and about 9 of those will be while he's asleep. That is just naturally, as well. Given the right external stimulation, that number may increase dramatically. This means that while most erections noticed/induced, by sexual partners, or through masterbation will end with ejaculation, the vast majority go hidden, unnoticed, or untouched and will naturally become flaccid again shortly after.

  • We can get hard and not have to cum to get it soft again. At school or in public all of us guys have gotten hard before whether it was intentional or not. We all have our own methods of getting soft. For me I just think of my grandparents naked and it instantly starts going down.

  • Boners can become soft as we focus on other things in the morning

    • do guys have boners every morning?

    • Not every morning. If that was the case imagine how many guys would be late to work

    • but what would make them have boners in the morning though?

Oh no. A boner can fade if it isn't "brought forward". But if we have one for too long, there will be the legendary Blue Balls, which is real. It is when the prostate and seminal vesicles are fully engorged with fluid (a full feeling) AND the vas deferens is strained from hiking up the testicles to get ready to cum. Ejaculation instantly relieves the full feeling but the vas deferens will be sore for a while after endorphins wear off.

  • they will become soft naturally if they don't cum and the stimul don't persist

  • By ejaculating we can relieve blue balls, but if left alone an erection will go way of its own accord.
Sadistic bitches who tease men know that when we become aroused our balls begin to ache (and can become quite painful) and stay that way until we ejaculate. Their aim is that we should not ejaculate (at least, not with their assistance) because they enjoy the thought of us being in ball pain.

  • No. Most boners disappear pretty quickly.

  • Well it ain't it gets hard because of Viagra

  • No, they don't. Men had a number of erections each day, the peak being in the morning typically between 3:00 and 6:00 am, hence the term "morning wood". Most will just dissipate, with the pooled blood just going back into general circulation of the body. If there is a substantial amount of stimulation, then he might want to get finished off.

  • no, its not neccasary... u only relieve urself if u want to... i can never be bothered though

  • It goes soft naturally after awhile

    • Man mine doesn't till I do it or a lady

  • Shit will just go away but taking a piss helps.

  • You don’t have to ejaculate every time you get hard. I would have cum like 8 or 9 times in a day if that were the case and I’m pretty sure you can die cumming that many times in a day. 😉

  • It eventually goes away after a good while depending on how horny a guy is.

  • It will go down eventually

  • They go away on their own

  • It will eventually go soft. We get hard multiple times through the night without any stimulation.

  • Yes I do but even though it will become soft over time it still dosent fill very good to just let it be.
    God Bless

  • That's not a need

  • It will eventually go soft naturally as they loose stimulation. If they stay stimulated for too long they can get blue balls though and that can be painful

    • wait, what do you mean by blue balls? how is blue balls caused by?

    • Blue balls is caused by a lot of blood flow to the genitals for a prolonged period of time it begins to be painful

    • "Blue Balls" is a colloquialism. When a man becomes aroused, his prostate gland goes into high gear producing semen - the fluid that makes up 99% of ejaculate. This will "top off" the "reservoir" of semen, which will then start to build some pressure, causing the prostate gland to be a bit sore and extra sensitive. Normally this is a good thing, as it builds some physical tension that drives a man to desire a physical release, which adds to the overall sexual tension. Normally, either the man proceeds to either having sex or masturbating, OR the arousal stops before very long and things return to normal. But if the man remains in an aroused state for more than a couple of minutes without doing anything about it, or if his arousal is super high, then so much pressure builds up in the prostate that it becomes SUPER sore and SUPER sensitive, causing it to ache and causing the slightest touch to be very painful - like a dull powerful pain combined with a cramp. That's "blue balls."
