Have you been told that you're good-looking more from the opposite sex? Or your own gender? I've often had other guys think I'm not that good-looking and even joke about it, while it's more often been females to think I'm attractive.

Has it been this way for you? Or the opposite where more of your own gender thinks you're good-looking but less so from the other sex?

Women haven't really said directly that I'm attractive... they've complimented my hair or clothing, etc but not necessarily my looks. So by default, men.

The saddest thing is when some folks think you're good looking / average looking but you see nothing but unattractiveness in the mirror.

Some people have called me gorgeous, beautiful, pretty but I have literally never seen it. Meanwhile I've heard others call me average looking. But all I see is unattractiveness in the mirror. so im kinda confused about what to think.

I think it's about even. The homosexual males tend to find me attractive even if they don't say anything because I can feel their eyes on me and I can see the looks they give me... Looks of thirst.
The females that compliment my looks are probably as old as my mother or older, so they aren't my peers and probably far more confident.
