@CamilaP is it hard for you to not see color in dating as a white girl? I'm just curious on the mindset. I'm a Hispanic brown guy and I've dated white girls before but I never noticed this difference in skin color. The thing is in my city (majority Hispanic), there are a lot of brown and white couples so I grew up used to it so much that I didn't notice. However, leaving my city, stuff becomes racial (mainly white cities). I feel like white girls see me differently and my skin color stands out more to white girls. Stuff like "love your skin." And "love your accent." "Can you talk Spanish?" "Are you from the USA?" I don't know I just wanna be seen as no different.. but it's too much to ask for? Would you say a lot of white girls are this way?
? I find it interesting. For example, when dating a white girl (Hispanic) and she sits across me on a date, I see my date. Not a white skinned girl date. When I hold hands with her, I see my girlfriends hand not a white skinned hand. When your boyfriend holds your hand, do you see a black hand or do you see your boyfriends hand? What stands out more to you and see first?
