Sexual Health I saw this question earlier asking about a natural bush on a woman and the responses kinda suprised me. A LOT of the women were saying "ewww" and saying its gross, a few men were saying similar things but I noticed it was mostly women. I never understood why people find body hair gross, personally I kinda like hair. I shave it or trim it just cause it makes wearing bikini bottoms easier or if a guy I'm with prefers it, but I don't consider the hair "yuck and gross." And I actually think pubic hair looks more womanly than bare. I think having a preference is PERFECTLY ok, but I never understood the "eww hair is gross" thing.
Even when I was younger and had just started growing leg hair I had girls in my class and friends look at my legs and tell me how gross it was, so I took my moms razor and shaved it. Why are people so against something so natural?

Social standards, I guess. We are used to see females with perfect bare legs, so that's what we think it's pretty.
I personally don't care, but I still do it if someone will see my legs, and I also keep it trimmed down there for comfort.

I've always heard people say that but a quick Google search ( i did it before asking this question! c:) shows that is not really a point of concern as long as you shower and wash. "But pubic hair isn't actually unhygienic. Like other hair on your body, your pubes trap sweat, oil, and bacteria. So, they might have a slightly stronger odor than other areas of your body. As long as you wash regularly, this shouldn't be cause for concern."

I actually prefer bushes personally and I don't find body hair disgusting. That said, if a woman has chest hair or dense belly hair, it will look off in my opinion, not disgusting, just off.
