Why are sex toys so expensive?

Why are sex toys so expensive, like looking on Amazon they are 40 + and i dont have that kind of money.

I was looking at them before , and got reminded about them while shopping on Amazon. Im not in the mood for sex or anything like that for a while

They're a specialty product, and they have a lot of testing and liability given how they are used (internal to the human body), so they have to be made with certain materials and so on. And because people are idiots and then want to sue companies for their own stupidity.

That’s not expensive. Mine are high end, quiet, rechargeable and cost $65-$135. There’s a big difference in quality from cheaper battery operated and rechargeable name brands.

Amazon isn't usually the best for decent pricing, but 10-40 bucks for a waterproof device really isn't asking a whole lot. There are, for sure, a lot of toys that have their price jacked up, but you can find a decent vibe bullet or dildo for 10-30. NONE of these are really remotely the expensive side of toys, we have a remote, bluetooth, create-your-own-vib function couples vibe that cost $89. Toys from Lelu can easily run over $150.

The more you add on, the more expensive a device normally gets. I'd say if you were really strapped for cash to buy an electric toothbrush, but at that price point you could get a bullet that would do three times the job for the same price. Love Honey has a Basics rabbit for less than 30, and usually has a decent bullet for around 10. I don't know what Amazon is like because I haven't used it for years, but I assume you could always find a device noted on an actual toy site and see if they offer it on Amazon too for Prime or whatever.

Having worked in a porn shop in the past, it comes down to one thing, you get what you pay for. Some vibe cost $10, you might orgasm with one speed before the AA batteries die. Or pay more for an ergonomically correct, rechargeable, multiple speeds for multiple orgasms. Read reviews and ask before you drop the cash, you can't really try before you buy.

Darlin', your toys are dirt cheap!!! Some places, you can get a full sized life-like dildo for $10.00!! Try looking for sex toys in the men's department!! A Fleshlight probably only costs $25.00 or so, but if you want a toy that JUST has a woman's hips and crotch, it's well over a $100.00 just for the cheapest one!! I'll stick with my hand!!
