Why do 70% of men watch porn and only 40% of women watch it?

I don't really believe 40% of women watch it but that's what this article I saw said. I think it's much less. Maybe they were counting women who watched it one time or something.

A lot of people say that far more men watch porn than women because the porn that is available is made to appeal more to men than women. But which comes first? The cart or the horse? Is most of the porn designed for men because it is men who want to watch it most, or are men watching it most because it's made for men? If there was a big demand for porn designed for women, don't you think it the porn industry would want to cash in on that and produce more of it?

  • Yes, yes... we dudes may watch the porn more. But allow me to blow your mind.

    Who makes more porn? I'm not going to say it, but just think about it. Now include things like onlyfans, chaturbate, and the other cam sites.

    There is just so many women online flicking the bean all day on camera... oh and the dog porn picture. I hangout on the part of the web that requires Tors... these chicks like fucking dogs for some reason.

    So in conclusion I will admit that a lot of us dudes have a problem by jerking off to chicks a bit too much. But the other gender doesn't have a clean slate either if you catch what I'm trying to say.

  • Honestly 40% sounds really high for women. Maybe it's because if how butch women are today.😆

    I'm guessing it's mainly fat, ugly cat ladies. Because most women know they can get laid at the drop of the hat by going into any bar on any given night, putting her legs up on the bar and saying she's open for business. So why would she resort to porn unless she simply didn't want to tolerate a guy that night.😆

    And 70% of men? Either 30% of men have no internet connection or 30% of men are lying. Because there are 2 types of men 1. men that masterbate and 2. men that lie about it.😆

And as @aviatortom sagely pointed out, women are more likely reading the seamy sex stories rather than watching visual porn pictures or movies, and that still counts. The whole Christian Gray 50 Shades series of books were best sellers for a reason, and it wasn't men who were buying the books typically.

  • I think half of the reason is that woman usually need more sensuality to be turned on. I think not knowing the people on the screen is many times over a bigger hurdle for woman generally speaking.

    And the other half is that woman don't really need porn like men do, it's very easy for them to just have sex. It doesn't cost them anything.
