A lot of people say that far more men watch porn than women because the porn that is available is made to appeal more to men than women. But which comes first? The cart or the horse? Is most of the porn designed for men because it is men who want to watch it most, or are men watching it most because it's made for men? If there was a big demand for porn designed for women, don't you think it the porn industry would want to cash in on that and produce more of it?

Women are not visual. They are rather disgusted than amazed by men's bodies. What is more, they do not feel sexual tension/need as much as men do. (Good man's personality can ameliorate that effect a little.) Concluding, most women are not attracted to male figure and even do not want to be.

Some women go to see them out of curiosity, for fun or because they are feminists (to prove they are like men). But there is no any desire or tension there. Sexual attraction is and was always a one way street. Women are the desired gender, men are the unwanted ones fighting for women attention with: money, protection and self-sacrifice.

@HelpfulWoman No. It comes from world observation and analysis. Literature, culture, history, movies, everyday life - if one spends time on analysing it he/she can draw such conclusions. I am not interested in "getting laid". I deeply believe sex is a tool used by women to subjugate and enslave men. Nothing good comes from it. Rightfully, it should only be used in marriages to have babies.

Regarding your update, I believe you are correct sir. Porn is marketed towards men because they are the main consumer. I believe also that porn for women has been tried, and didn't prove successful.
That is a fact. Some years back there was a business that produced porn geared towards women. Sort of a cross between the romantic stuff that seems to turn women on more and actual porn... more like a "soft porn" kind of thing. It was a big flop. I think it is clear that almost all porn is produced for men because it is men who are by far the primary consumers. And men like it explicit, hot and raunchy, not soft and romantic.
