I am one of those guys who like anal better than vaginal. Both are great, but anal is better. I'm also very lucky to be married to a woman who enjoys it as much and as often as I do. Here are my reasons for that.

Anal isn't necessarily tighter overall. It feels that way at first, but once she relaxes it is mostly about the same. In fact, up inside anal may even feel a little looser. It's the outer ring, the sphincter, that is what makes it feel tight. And it feels especially good because it grips the base of my dick when I'm balls deep, and that feels amazing.

Well statistically women who do anal sex regularly orgasm from it more often then any other form of sex. They also report it being far more intense then normal. That is why I am interested in it, I find a woman's orgasm fascinating (and sexy obviously) and so the idea that their is something more intense then their normal orgasm (which from a male perspective is mind blowingly intense (full body convulsions, hyper sensitivity for a few minutes after, the screaming etc. meanwhile my orgasm is. . . okay I'm done. Here's my thinking on this.
*Guys seek out anal intercourse partly because there is a lot of it in porn.
*It is a means to having intercourse without the need for a condom, which takes too much enjoyment out of sex.
*There is an abuse/dominance aspect to anal intercourse. Perhaps even a rape ritual.
