Sex is intimate. It is the closest you can be with someone in a literal sense. Not only that, both her and you are being completely vulnerable to each other to experience something great together.

Yes, I know all that may sound a bit touchy-feely, but there is truth to it. Just because a guy thinks sex is just a distraction, that doesn't mean the girl will feel the same way. After being intimate together, it's no wonder that she wants to remain close to him, unless she also went in with the idea that it was just a fling.

Because after sex a lot of oxytocin is released, which is a hormone that increases happiness and bonding, so it makes women clingy. This also happens in men, but most women naturally have higher levels of oxytocin, so it is probably more apparent in them.

I don't know about anyone else but I find guys get clingy after sex in my case.

But oxcytocin is involved in sex which is a kind of a trust and bonding hormone so it’s not strange for one or the other to get somewhat attached.

I could be wrong here, but in most of my sexual experiences most women have to have some sort of physical connection w the man on a higher level to give theirselves to us men sexually. Yes there are some exceptions, drunk chicks, one w mental issues. So I think once you’ve had sex w her that just solidifies it more as far as her feelings. But there’s also fear of abandonment as well so she clings to him thinking this is how I can keep from losing him, not realizing that that is what’s pushing him away.
