So I help to manage two small strip clubs...1 is a regular female strip club, the other is a male strip club and they are located in the same building next to each other. Anyway, the one thing that shocked me at first... we often hire for servers (waitress/waiters) and girls that we hire as servers almost always prefer to work in the female strip club! Even girls who are 100% straight and are interested in men still prefer to work in the female strip club and be around other girls that are nude? Yet the guys that we hire almost always refuse to work in the male strip club unless it is a gay guy. Why is that? Why do girls that are completely straight still prefer to work in a female strip club and be around nude girls instead of working in a male club? Even when I ask the girls why, they just say they feel more comfortable being around nude girls even though they are straight. Why is this?

I would feel more comfortable working in a female strip club. If I were to work in a male strip club... I feel like it would defeat the purpose of a male strip club. The people are there to see male strippers not female strippers. lol If I were to work in a male strip club I would feel a bit awkward because basically all of the strippers would be male but it would depend on the job I would be doing. If I were a waitress it would be fine. In female strip club, I would definitly get more tips but I think it may be more comfortable because there are other women around who I could talk to about the job. And of course the female body is not an issue. Women basically have all of the same stuff but in different shapes and sizes. I don't know if this answers your question. lol

Yes, I feel comfortable. It's not like the middle school locker room scenarios where the girls chit chat about your appearance. But yes, I'm fine with both if I were put in this situation. But in reality the one man's parts I wouldn't mind seeing is my significant others. lol

No not really. The girls are doing that willingly. But regardless I wouldn't work in one.

they're not perfect 10s lol but I don't want to see beer-bellied strippers. Plus I'm used to seeing (half) naked women in the changing rooms.
The don't have to worry about strippers on them and the guy customers will tip them really well because they're turned on already.

Depends on what logic you use. If you think about the nature of wither sex and what's common in America it makes sense. A girl feels more comfortable around naked girls than naked guys unless she has feelings for him. Guys only feel comfortable with other dudes to an extent like in a locker room shower. No one wants to look at eachother, but guys feel perfectly comfortable with naked girls.

A girl's naked body looks like a work of art. A guy's naked body looks weird for me. I mean your thing dangling between your thighs. I do like seeing a naked man sometimes but working on a male stripper club feels like too much for me. And maybe the fact that I'm a girl makes it easy for me to be around naked ones too because I see the same thing on me everyday. Female stripper's body is better than mine though, of course.

Well, it's not called a stripper club for nothing, right? Men are objectified too in a men's stripper club so it's just the same. At least the girls/guys are being paid for showing their nude body. Business is business.

Yea I would choose female strip club because I know I would be making more money and I wouldn't feel like a pervert. However, working at any strip club isn't exactly my ideal job.

Not really. I guess just that growing up with other girls you see each other naked so it's pretty normal, whereas seeing a guy naked isn't as normal as a female.

Women are taught to suppress their sexuality... the burden of purity is placed on women, not men. So, when the women are around sexually aggressive nude or nearly-nude men who they aren't in relationships with, it sends up a red flag for a lot of them.
At the same time, a lot of women are more comfortable being nude around other women. E. g. girls going shopping with friends and trying on clothes in a shared changing room. It's not at all a sexual thing for them. On the reverse, men have things like the public urinal code which has strict rules about keeping your eyes fixed on the wall at all times and never speaking to other men who are using the urinals lest you be perceived as gay. It's not a sexual situation either, but we impose sexuality on it.
So on both counts, a woman working in the club with female dancers is going to be more comfortable and less sexually imposing of the two options.
When I worked in a strip club near enough everyone who worked there but wasn't a stripper was female. I don't know why but I would have thought men would want to work there because of all the girls stripping.

Oh I see. The place I was at was so small we didn't even have a waitress. XD
We only had 1 waitress on at most times. During busy times we had 2 or 3 waitresses working. There was always 5 strippers walking around to see if any of the customers wanted a private dance and 1 stripper who was dancing to people who didn't want a private dance.
You must have skipped English class and started stripping. "... when I wasn't dancing" would have been have been proper English. That's the only problem I have with girls stripping. Many of them aren't getting an education.
They'll get better tips from the girl strip club because the guys are already there to see the girls anyways. So if they worked in the male strip club with all the gay guys or the straight girls they'll get less tips.

Well I don't know of too many straight girls that really go out of their way to enjoy looking at another girls boobs. And as a guy I know I don't see other guys as 'hot' or 'attractive'. So it's just interesting that you claim to be straight, but enjoy checking out other girls boobs and calling them sexy.

How is it offensive? I don't know of any straight guy that talks about enjoying the sight of another mans abs or butt. And most straight girls I know don't go out of their way to check out the boobs of another girl.

Actually his assumptions make sense, otherwise you'll be a hypocrite or secretly attracted to girls. The answer to his question is, women feel more constable in a environment where their attributes are appreciated and hold value. They may also feel less expose (decency), when in a 'female are awesome environment'.
