Why do guys exagerrate so much when they get kicked in the balls,?

It's not an exaggeration. For martial arts purposes, it's considered a "Distracting strike", but it can permanently damage a man's groin in so many ways. I mean, a palm heel to the nose is considered a "Distracting Strike " too, and that can break your nose or even kill you.

If a woman trained her front snap kick and front thrust kick and knee strikes full time, she could permanently injure a man just by kicking/kneeing him in the nuts. This is why there's actually a law in the Bible against a woman striking or grabbing a man by the groin in the violence, because it can and does cause permanent damage.

If anything, guys will more likely try to laugh it off and make out like it didn’t hurt as bad as it did (especially if he is kicked by a girl and/or in front of other girls), because they do not want to be seen as vulnerable, to have such a weakness or be in so much pain. Most kicks to the balls, however, will not allow guys to simply laugh it off. It will just put them straight to the ground in total shock and in absolute agony instead. A really hard kick to the balls can be devastatingly painful, so guys are not exaggerating when this happens.

Their reaction can be quite impressive and unexpected to a girl because they act as if they are going to die. I mean you may think they exaggerate a little at first but then when you see several guys unable to move after being hit in the testicles, you understand the reaction comes from the high level of pain.
Of course we don't have testicles so we'll never know and some guys might exaggerate but I'm pretty sure most guys are genuinely unable to stand in that case.

@sirderpsalot123 I'm not the asker and I don't think it is about being vulnerable. It is more that we don't usually see guys in pain and we can't relate to the testicular pain so some girls tend to think that it is an over reaction. They can't imagine it can be painful enough to make a guy fall to the ground and especially when most of the time the guy will be ok after a few minutes.

@larawm I'd say a somewhat strong kick can incapacitate for about 15-20 minutes and it will still hurt a lot afterwards. At least from my experience.

@vlx-na Yes of course, I was more talking about accidental hit to the testicles where the reaction can be surprising to girls. I don't think someone will think you exaggerate if you go to the ground after a strong kick. I'm pretty sure everyone will be worried that you might be injured. By the way I'm sorry it happened to you, is there something that help with the pain?

@larawm Some girls, especially at younger age, still laugh when they see someone kicked there. As for helping with the pain: right after the kick - not really. They say it helps to jump or do squats, but after a strong kick it is obviously impossible, because I couldn't even move. The only thing I could do is just curl and feel all the pain until it subsides somewhat. Then the ice can be applied, or some medicine.

Yes, definitely. Some people tend to laugh when they feel awkward. Especially for young girls, as I said, guys reaction is very strong and is quite unexpected. Thanks for ideas on help, I guess the jumping thing is purely theoritical. Most guys seem to curl into a ball like you, and can't even stand so I don't think jumping is an option. So the basic ice pack is still useful

@larawm Ice helps to reduce swelling and other lasting effects, but doesn't really help against the immediate pain. Nothing really does. If a guy gets kicked there - he's certain to feel the pain in his whole body and there's nothing we can really do about it. That's why we hate being kicked there so much.

It hurts without a doubt, but not as much provided equal force is applied. I live with girls and they say while it's painful it won't bring them to their knees. If it was equally as painful they'd have the female equivalent of an athletic cup.

Well i've done it back to a girl and she had an equal reaction to that of what i did. So either she is just weak and had same reaction to that of what i did cause i am stronger but had much more impact? Or it was equal and when you look it up, it pretty much say's yes it hurts all the same and that It's a misconception that women don't hurt as much. Now I can’t speak to whether it hurts exactly as much as getting hit in the balls as I don’t have any, but a solid hit to the vulva can absolutely produce the same drop -> curl -> cry reaction in a woman. Accidental hits are less common because the area of sensitivity is smaller, but a deliberate hit to the groin will bring a woman down. And honestly, if we’re both in the fetal position, does it really matter who’s technically in more pain? The agony is unbearable, no matter what you carry between your legs.
