Why do men seem to believe that we go around saying a guy raped us if we don’t like him?

The vast majority of girls would never accuse a guy of rape just to hurt him.

Being raped is so humiliating it’s not something you want to talk about with anyone. When I was raped I didn’t tell anyone for a year. It hurts to talk about being raped and it’s so humiliating. All you want to do is forget about it and how he felt.

What Girls & Guys Said

  • Cause this is something that actually happens.

  • it happens all the time. The only ones you can fool are your white knights.

  • It's happened to a personal friend of mine. And I mean she would willingly come to his house while I was there and get it on in the bedroom. She wanted money for the plan B pill and since he came in her mouth, he didn't want to do it (though I know semen can make it through the urethra prior to ejaculation), but when he said he wasn't going to pay for it, she told a bunch of her friends that he raped her, of which began circulating around the school. And this was after about two dozen times that I've personally seen them get together. I was there the night she said he raped her. She simply thought it was wrong of him to deny her the pill and apparently thought he deseved the label of rapist.

  • Still, some people do falsely accuse people of rape because now the blame falls mostly on the rapist. It’s nowhere near the majority of women but still, it does happen occasionally.

  • All it takes is for one women to have done that to a guy and then it's something that can happen. Unfortunately this is more common that people think. It does happen though. Of course not always.

  • Because the current system will believe any woman with no questions asked. You may not do that but there are crazy bitches out there who will so we gotta keep our guard up.

    • It sucks it happed to you. Im sorry you went though that.

  • Umm well I've literally had my female friend say infront of like 20 people that I raped a girl 'as a joke' after I had consensual sex with someone she knew (and was insanely jealous of, she wanted me for years but I never made a move on her). Then there's that other crazy bitch who called me a rapist infront of my friends after I refused to have sex with her drunk ass the night before, she went and said I tried to rape her. Too bad I had all the texts, she was the one who contacted me for sex.

Soo yeah, men aren't just making this shit up. I also personally know a dude who got kicked out of university when a woman accused him of rape after she got wasted and CHOSE to fuck this guy. It's a very real thing. Don't be ignorant.

  • That sometimes seems to be a thing in the USA, also among celebrities. They claim to have been raped by, for example her ex, to make them get punished/ stigmatised. Like a revenge thing

  • A lot of guys, think regret rape allegations are far more common than they are. The fact that there are false accusations makes real ones harder to report.

  • Because, unfortunately, more an morse stupid women have abused that to hurt men they don't like, degrading these men and actual victims of rape in the process, solely out of lack of responsibility and maturity. It's sad that this tactic works unfortunately because it discredits actual rape victims a lot.

  • Because some women do. And guys end up in jail for 12 years, innocent. And get out because she blabbed on fa ebook she made it all up. Or they get their careers ruined in college because of an accusations.

  • i totally agree with you on that

  • Because it happens a lot

  • because it happens

  • Because it's a good way to ruin a guy's life? Happened to me, false accusations are definitely a thing.

  • Because we listen to the news and know that the current climate is to believe women unconditionally, except Tara Reade, of course, inducing them to exact advantage or revenge, often when nothing remotely like rape was involved. It's why I have worn a wire on some dates and when I am at work where I may be alone with a female.

  • Dudes are pretty off these days. They have a lot of hate and anger in them.

  • Most men can't even imagine what rape is. They don't think they could ever experience it. Theu don't feel concerned. Some just see it as a way for women to get money from them, get revenge or as a way to disculp themselves for having sex they regret after.

    • More men are raped than women believe. Feminsts really out here thinking only 1 in 71 men are raped

    • @ThiccNigro I know men are raped too. Still, women are more likely to be raped than men.

    • It's still a significantly larger amount of men than women want to believe. Don't say men can't relate

    • Show All
  • The rape conversation in the US is a very dishonest one right now.

Rape is a terrible crime and we are all aware of that. It's why rapists are viewed by everyone as pieces of shit. But there is this overwhelming denial among women, and especially feminists, about false rape claims. It happens a LOT more than you women try to say it does. The fact is probably 20% - 30% of rape claims are false, but the vast majority are not reported as false rape claims because they get dropped for lack of evidence. At that point it is extremely rare that law enforcement will follow up on them and actually prove the are false, so they don't end up in the official statistics.

Most men are well aware of that, and until we as a society acknowledge that fact, men are going to continue to be very cynical about the entire subject of rape.
