It  appears  to be easy money, take some pics and video's and the cash rolls in. Many try it, find out its not that easy and quit. It requires more hours than working a regular job, 80 plus a week. Only the top 1 to 3% ever make it big. The rest, it might supplement there regular job, a few hundred dollars a month. The real reason is money. When the best job you can get only pays 10 to 15 an hour, and you have to live somehow, they see it as the only choice they really have. Many do it while going to college to assist with school or avoid student loans. I would bet that if they could get jobs making 30+ an hour, most would not do it. Then again since soo many grow up sexting as a part of life, they don't feel ashamed or embarrassed about their bodies. Not all of them do porn like stuff either, some are solo with no partners. Some are naturalists, nudists who merely record their every day life with no sex acts. Only fans isn't strictly designed for this, as there are others (granted a minority) that try to make money on other things they do that are non sexual and non nude. If you are thinking of doing it, realize it is a lot of hard work, you need constant interaction and new content. On top of that, people can take screenshots, screen recorders and pretend to be you and open up other accounts trying to make money off your pictures/recordings on fansly or somewhere else. You may need a lawyer and a legal disclaimer to sue people who do that, but no luck if they are in a different country. Have to be willing to realize that a portion of your content will be stolen and resold.
