Sexual Health Why are the words "SEX" and "CHEERLEADER" synonymous to most guys?
Don't tell me it isn't true, you can not say the word "Cheerleader" around a group of guys without having a provocative slur or joke made... you know I'm right guys!
Maybe many girls have no problem with it and know in advance that it is just part of the job, or even like it, but what about the athletic girls that just love it as a sport and do not want to be looked upon as a sex object for doing what they love?
Why do so many guys look at cheerleaders as sex objects? Does that take the appeal out of wanting to become a cheerleader for many girls?

B. YES! It is just part of the territory when joining a cheerleading squad. In fact, many cheerleaders thrive off of the "sex object" status that it brings!

C. I disagree! It is ridiculous that guys look at cheerleaders as sex objects. It is no different than figure skating, gymnastics, ballet or many forms of dancing. Some guys just see any female not dressed in a burqa as sexually provocative

I think the look is sext and as men are visual, its a turn on to most of them. I mean I have a fantasy of my wife having sex with me dressed as a cheerleader.

Men find cheerleaders sexy because they are a group of very attractive, fit women in hot skimpy outfits dancing around. I don't see how any normal man could not find this stimulating. That doesn't mean we mistreat them as sex objects but part of the job us to get men to watch them so we don't disappoint and watch with keen interest.

first off why do you act like you've caught us red handed? it's obvious that these women are sex objects. we never tried to deny that. and i think they love the attention. what do they expect to be when they wear skimpy clothes and shake their butts. and i have never though of cheer leading as an sport. if a girl is athletic she can do track and field or martial arts. how much athleticism does it take for a girl to shake her ass?
The routines they do are extremely athletic and practice is hours long to coordinate the choreography right. I understand your general point but there is more to it than just shaking their butts... lol
you said it yourself! choreography. it's just dancing and there's a sexual appeal to dancing. i'm not saying it's easy. my point is when a woman is dancing in front of a large number of guys, those guys are not going to admire her for her complex dance moves and her athleticism. they're going to think her body looks good

If they don't want to be classed as sex objects then stop jumping around in skimpy clothing with your bits hanging out. Put some over-alls on and see how long you will be a Cheer Leader.
None of those guys think of them as sex objects. they just think its hot and that's the end of the thought
Men are biologically engineered and lust driven because men usually think in terms of which women would most benefit him inside he passed his seed into her. It's a wuss's way of looking at it but yeah, men view women as sexual objects and not as people for the most part.
