One is that they are just sociopaths who either don't care or genuinely enjoy hurting other people.
The second is that they know the actress involved is actually turned on by this behavior, and they are comfortable engaging in it with her.
I don't get the desire for rough sex in general. It's supposed to be a loving act. Rough isn't loving to me. Don't get it.
